FESTICURTS FIGUERES'10

• The topic and the kind are free.
• We will value the idea more than the resort
• The duration of the short film have to be between 3 and 15 minutes.
• All those films which aren't made in Catalan or Spanish must be presented with the corresponding subtitles.
• The films have to be presented in DVD format.
• The period of inscription will close the 27th August 2010. The address of reception is:

• The short films must be carried out after the first of January 2009.
• They have to be presented with an envelope that includes aninscription paper.
• The organization has the right of selection.
• The participation in the FESTICURTS Figueres '10 signifies the integral acceptance of these bases and offers to the organization the right to make use of the works received for promotion and for festival diffusion (free exhibition rights).

PRIZES AND JURY

The prizes will be basically of promotion and economics. The verdict of the jury will be unquestionable. The jury have the right of giving consolation awards. There are going to be different prizes:

1. Best Short Film - 1200€
2. Best Animation Short Film - 400€
3. Tomàs Mallol Prize (for those films with a reflexive an intimistic style, like Tomàs Mallol style) - 300€
4. Special festival prize - 300€
5. Public prize - 200€
6. ACAT Prize (granted by the organization to a concrete person, with the will of tribute or recognition to its cinematographic and audio-visual career).

The jury will be formed by different personalities related to the city of Figueres and to the world of culture or audiovisual.
